Micheal Jackson To what extent can Michael Jackson's Billie Jean Music Video be seen as an example of intertextuality?  Intertextuality is the representation of one form of media text referenced in another form of media. In the music video there are many references in the video which shaped the video. For example, the music video has a fantasy element in it with the artist turning into animals and into thin air. Another example of this is at the start of the music video when the artist throw a coin into a homeless mans pot to collect change, the pot then starts to glow and then the homeless man suddenly changes into a white suit. This isn't something that is normal to happen, showing that it is a fantasy element to the music video. Another example of showing intertexuality is the detective character being stereotyped by the choice of how to represent the character. Lesson 4  Oh Comely differs from other typical female magazines by the limited amount of series produced. The other mainstream newspaper produce newspapers every day with an incite on celebrities and main focus points such as TV, movies, gossip etc wheres Oh Comely focuses on 'reduced stress and being mindful'. Oh comely aims are different to others by releasing less than others gives time for Oh to write stories in depth compared to the other newspapers with less of a meaning behind the articles. Compared to heat, which influences women to gossip and 'be skinny'.  Oh Comely's aims compared to Men's Health differ to due to the different genders.
