Comparing Men's Health and Oh Comely 

Men's Health is clearly aimed at Men hence the title of the magazine yet the font used is more masculine compared to oh Comely. The font is basic and bold, which could have been used to indicate that men need to be attracted to something bold to pay attention, something like Oh Comely's font wouldn't interest the male audience due to how soft and bland it is, it isn't bold it's more natural something done as it is a them of Oh Comely to have thing natural. The font color as well is bright and dark blue, colors commonly associated with males. The cover lines are similar in the way that they are both sort and snappy yet Men's health seems to be more aggressive compared to Oh Comely. In all caps ' BLAST BODY FAT' is eye catching to males as it is bold, short and something of interest to the audience as well. However both of the magazine's models are in the center of the magazine showing focus around them yet with different poses to show gender differences between the magazines. Men's Health shows Vin Diesel standing in the center of the magazine flexing his muscles, showing off dominance and it is a 'hero shot', however he is in a unnatural position like the Oh comely magazine they have this in common with both models in unnatural positions. 
Oh Comely's model is natural with no make up on, a historical feature as well as the make up is the clothing warn by the Oh Comely model, everything apart form the head is covered.
